Keizer Art Walk

Keizer Art Walk
The Keizer Art Walk created a partnership between Keizer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center and Artists in Action, with collaboration from the Keizer Creative Art Association, and the City of Keizer to enhance arts and culture throughout the community. Creative work of Oregon and Pacific Northwest artists will be showcased throughout the year as public art. Reception events, school tours, and tourist attractions will reflect the local partnership, local impact, and conscientious project management. The economic impact of Keizer Ark Walk and enduring projects will broaden the connection between local arts and culture resources, artists, and community development.

Call to Artists
A call to artists for the inaugural Keizer Art Walk is underway. The exhibition is planned for August 2008 – July 2009. An artist incentive will be determined. The juried show is open to all media weather compliant sculptors. Contact Bruce Fountaine from Artists in Action at 503-580-9526 or visit www.artistsinaction.com

Call for Site Placements or Sponsorship
Six locations in Keizer are being determined to host the inaugural public art displays. Public Art Sponsors are also encouraged. Businesses, developers, or interested citizens are welcomed to contact Project Manager JoAnne Beilke at the Keizer Chamber office at 503-393-9111 for more information.
